Welcome to our 10th Annual Mid West Pony Cup Team Challenge! This event is for riders

21 years old and under  This year the winning team takes home $500 and the CUP!

Everyone who is entered as an eventer will be placed in a team if available, all eventers will be awarded individual placing at each level as well as team awards.

 

Eventing Classes: All courses are designed by Lena Warner and John Williams and conforms

to the USEA standards. All Eventing Classes follows the current USEA and USEF rules.

NEW Parents Challenge BBN XC. Same tests as the JR riders. Must be a parent to one of the JR riders at this show. This is Your chance to have some fun! Entry Fee: $65 NEW Parents Challenge BN XC. Same tests as the JR riders. Must be a parent to one of the JR riders at this show. Entry Fee: $80
Baby Beginner Novice $65:   Dressage USDF Intro. Test B, Stadium Jumping ( max. 2'3"), XC BBN (max.2'3") Beginner Novice $80: Dressage: Beginner Novice Test A, Stadium Jumping (max. 2'7")
Novice $95: Dressage Novice Test A, Stadium Jumping (max. 2'11") Training $100: Dressage Training Test A, Stadium Jumping 3'3"
 Cross Country Only!  Please state level. USEA Rules apply! Fee: $35 (one schooling round per horse only) No Ribbon or prize!

Hunter and Jumper Classes: All Hunter and Jumper Classes take place on Saturday!  Ribbon to 6th place.

Junior Equitation 13 and under  $15/class

Class 201, 202

Open to any pony or horse with rider 13 years and under. Will be judged on style, dress, and suitability of horse no jumping

Children Hunter 13 and under 2' $15/class

 

110 Children Hunter 13 and Under Over Fences

112  Children Hunter 13 and Under Saddle

Open to all ponies and horses with rider 13 and under. Will be judged on style, dress, and suitability of horse

Children Hunter 14-17 2'3" Class Fee: $15

115 Children Hunter 14-17 Over Fences

117 Children Hunter 14-17 Under Saddle

Open to any pony or horse with rider 14-17 years old.

 

 

 

 

Jumper Classes

Just for me! Cross Rail Jumper $15

Class 300

Open to all horses and ponies no age limit. No higher than  18" no jump off. Can not cross enter in classes over 2' high.

 

 Note: Jumper classes will be combined if less than 3 entries per class!

2' Otter Junior Jumper $20

Class 301

Jump off right after completing first course. Can not  cross enter in classes with jumps higher than 2'6"

Can not cross enter in classes with jumps higher than 2'6"

2'3" Jumper

Class 305 15 and under

Class 306 16 and up to 21.

Can not cross enter in classes with jumps 3'3" or higher

2'6" Jumper

Class 308 15 and under

Class 309 16 and up

Open to all horses and ponies, can cross enter in other jumper classes and hunter classes.

2'9" Jumper

Class 312 15 and under

Class 313 16 and up

Open to all horses and ponies, can cross enter in other  jumper classes and hunter classes.

2'11" Jumper

Class 315 15 and under

Class 316 16 and up

Open to all horses and ponies, can cross enter in other jumper classes and hunter classes.

3'3" Jumper

Class 320 15 and under class 321 16 and up

Open to all horses and ponies, can cross enter in other jumper classes and hunter classes.

Gamblers Choice

Class 360

Open to all horses and ponies, can cross enter in other  jumper classes and hunter classes. No age restrictions.  Fences to be at different heights from 2'3"-3'3". One minute to jump as many fences as you can, each fence is worth points. Most point earned will win a prize!

 

Class 350

Money divided as follows: 1st-$50, 2nd-$25, 3rd- $25

Volunteers: You must bring at least one volunteer per team!! All parents, trainers, friends and relatives are more than welcome to help!
Tentative Schedule: Sat: 10:00 am: All Hunter Classes and Some Jumper Classes; Sat: 8:00 am: Dressage & Eventing Dressage; 11:30am: Cross-Country; Sun: 9:00am: Eventing Stadium, Show Jumping & Award Ceremony. 
Entries & Refunds: BBN: $65, Beginner Novice: $80, Novice: $95,Training: $100.  Hunter Classes $15 Jumper Classes $15.  Grand Prix Jumper $20.  Dressage Classes $20Draw checks to Otter Creek Farm and mail to show secretary. Refunds: Before C.D. Entry-Less $20/Stable-Inn full; After C.D. -Entry/Stabling-Unless we have a waiting list No Refund. d) Competition cancellation - No refund. A 2010 negative coggins copy must be included with the entry! Watch this website for ride times and other information. 
Team ribbons & Team Awards. Mid West Pony Cup Team Champion Trophy.  Individual Ribbons to all event entries through 6th place and many other prizes. Awards:
Starting Times: Web: Start Times
Stabling: Permanent stabling on show grounds. $80 Fri-Sun. Day Stalls $30 if available. No stabling refunds after closing date, exception; if your stall can be filled by competitor on waiting list. Feed/ Hay/ Bedding available for purchase. Indicate a stabling group name that means everyone in your group enters the same name!!  Grounds fee if not stabled $30/horse. RECEIVE A $10 CREDIT IF YOUR STALL IS STRIPPED CLEAN!
Cross Country: Training 2400m. Novice 2000m. Beginner Novice 1500m. Baby Beginner Novice 1200m. Woods and fields, hills, water, banks. Sandy soil with good footing. BN maximum height 2'7". BBN maximum height 2'4".  Courses will be similar to the OC Fall Event.
Dressage & Flat classes: Small & large arenas 20x40m & 20x60m sand arenas. Jumping arenas on all weather footing. Warm up grass and sand.  
Accommodations: Americinn (715) 235-4800;  Holiday Manor Inn (715) 235-9651; Super 8 (715)235-8889 ; Parkside Motel (715)235-6124; Motel 6 (715)235-6901. All located in Menomonie, 17 miles from show. 
Directions: From St. Paul/Minneapolis : East on I 94 to Menomonie, WI, North on Hwy 25 for about 15 miles to 1170th Ave. Turn east (right). Go straight east for 2 miles, farm on right, parking on left (see signs). 
Team Competition: Eventing Team Competition: Teams of 3/4, best 3 scores to count, all team members must ride at same level. Indicate Team name and level entered on your registration form. If you don't have a team members we will place you in a Scramble team at your level if available.
Other Information: Food available on grounds. Dogs must be on a leash. Volunteers needed! Parents are needed to make this a positive and well organized event. Call/email show organizer or secretary if interested in volunteering before, during, or after show. Camping is allowed. Limited camper hook up is available RV's
Party: Saturday eve. at around 5:00 pm
